Madhav University is hosting the All India Inter-University Rope Skipping Competition, a three-day national event. The opening ceremony was attended by Dr. Sunil Vashisht and Dr. Praveen Medh.
Dr. Bhavesh Kumawat emphasized the university’s commitment to both education and sports, viewing the competition as a vital step in students’ overall development. Dr. Vishnu Choudhary highlighted that the event will showcase young athletes’ energy, enthusiasm, and fitness, while also enhancing the reputation of Abu Road and Madhav University in the sporting world.
Dr. Rajiv Mathur stated the competition aims to promote sportsmanship and a healthy lifestyle among students. Dr. Bharat Chaudhary, the Organizing Secretary, reported that state-of-the-art facilities have been arranged for the competition, with special provisions made for the athletes’ accommodation, meals, and practice.
Approximately 30 universities from across India are participating, with athletes demonstrating their skills in various aspects of rope skipping.
