Abu Road, Rajasthan, India – September 6, 2024 – Madhav University’s College of Agriculture recently organized a workshop on homeopathy and nutrition as part of National Nutrition Week. The workshop focused on the role of homeopathic medicines, minerals, vitamins, and nutritional supplements in human health. Dr. Parul Singh from Madhav Homeopathic College explained that homeopathic medicines have no side effects and are increasingly used for protein, vitamin, mineral, and supplement intake. She highlighted their effectiveness in treating common ailments like colds, coughs, fevers, and their significant role during the COVID-19 pandemic.
Dr. B.R. Patel, Dean of the College of Agriculture, discussed the rising use of homeopathy in India, emphasizing its benefits. He clarified that homeopathic medicines are not slow-acting and function similarly to allopathic medicines. Dr. Geetam Singh added that homeopathy is now utilized in animal husbandry, plants, and soil fertility improvement. Dr. Laxmikant Sharma discussed how homeopathy can help avoid the side effects of other treatments. Dr. Hemali from the Homeopathy Department spoke about the growing trend of using homeopathic medicines, and Dr. Samriddhi discussed their increasing popularity. The workshop included Dr. Rajesh Panchal, Dr. Anand Baghel, Dr. Chirag Solanki, Dr. Alok Kumar, Dr. Kailash Parihar, Dr. Shikhar Desai, Dr. Krishna Patel, Dr. Ruchita Kotdia, Dr. Abhilasha Rai, Dr. Suresh Kumar, and Shahrukh Khan.
