Madhav University Law Department Conducts Anti-Ragging Awareness Program and Essay Competition

Abu Road, Rajasthan, India – Aug 31, 2024 – Madhav University’s Law Department organized an anti-ragging awareness program, featuring a workshop and an essay competition. Dr. DK Upadhyay, Dean of the Law Department, presided over the event, informing students about anti-ragging measures and the importance of preventing ragging. He also highlighted the legal aspects and potential consequences of engaging in ragging.

Following the workshop, an essay competition on the same topic was held, with law students participating. Winners of the essay competition were awarded by the department. During the workshop, Dr. Sandeep Gehlot provided legal insights into anti-ragging laws, while Dr. Rohtash emphasized that ragging is an illegal offense and its prevention is crucial. Dr. Vidya Shaktawat assured attendees that Madhav University has a zero-tolerance policy towards ragging and the campus is entirely ragging-free. The event aimed to educate students about the negative impacts of ragging and reinforce the university’s commitment to maintaining a safe and respectful learning environment. Dr. Meenu Dayma, Dr. Arvind Rajpurohit, Dr. Suresh Kumar, and Manvendra Singh were also present at the event.
