Madhav University Law Students Gain Practical Experience at Gujarat High Court

Abu Road – Law students from Madhav University recently visited the Gujarat High Court in Ahmedabad for an educational tour. The visit allowed students to observe the court’s operations, procedures, and judicial processes firsthand.

Guided by Police Constable Surendra Singh Waghela, the students explored the court premises and learned about its various departments. Divided into two groups, they observed court proceedings in different courtrooms. One group witnessed hearings conducted by Justices D. Nanavati and Niral R. Mehta, while the other group observed Public Interest Litigation (PIL) cases before Chief Justice Sunita Agarwal.

The students gained insights into legal arguments and presentations made by lawyers and interacted with judges. Law faculty members Dr. Vidya Shaktawat, Dr. Dushyant Ramawat, Dr. Rohitash Meena, Dr. Sandeep Gehlot, Dr. Meenu Dayma Sharma, Dr. Suresh Kumar Trivedi, and Dr. Surendra Singh Meena accompanied the students. Student Suresh Kumar Patel played a key role in organizing the trip.

Dr. Dilip Kumar Upadhyay, Dean of the Law Faculty, expressed gratitude to the Gujarat High Court and the university administration. Dr. Bhavesh Kumawat, Registrar of Madhav University, reiterated the university’s commitment to providing practical experiences for students. The students found the visit highly informative and gained valuable insights into the structure and functioning of the High Court.
