Abu Road, Rajasthan, India – September 8, 2024 – Madhav University organized a Ganesh Chaturthi celebration on its campus, offering 1 lakh laddus to Lord Ganesha. The laddus were prepared on the university premises and distributed to students, staff, and residents of nearby villages. The event was part of a 10-day Ganesh Chaturthi celebration that will include various cultural programs.
Chairman Prof. Rajkumar stated that the university offered the laddus to Lord Ganesha on the occasion of Ganesh Chaturthi. The distribution of the prasad (offering) was carried out across the university and neighboring villages. The university community, including students and staff, participated in a procession before the idol installation, accompanied by traditional music. The event was attended by Pro-Chancellor Prof. Bijendra Kumar Gautam, Registrar Dr. Bhavesh Kumawat, Dr. Bharti, Mahendra Singh Gurjar, Chirag Malviya, Abhishek Meena, deans and heads of departments, and students. The university’s celebration highlighted the cultural significance of Ganesh Chaturthi and fostered a sense of community among students and staff.
