Madhav University Organized Awareness Program on World No Tobacco Day

Abu Road, June 1st, 2024 – Madhav University’s Madhav Homeopathic Medical College and NSS unit jointly organized an awareness program to commemorate World No Tobacco Day. The event aimed to educate the public about the harmful effects of tobacco use and encourage them to quit.

Dr. Manoj Kumar Behera highlighted the benefits of homeopathic treatment in overcoming addiction and managing withdrawal symptoms. Dr. Devendra Mujalda, NSS Director, emphasized the importance of staying away from tobacco and other harmful substances to maintain good health. Sangeeta Singh, NSS Coordinator, highlighted the detrimental impact of smoking on pregnant women and the health of their children. Dr. Dushyant Kumar and Dr. Parul Singh also addressed the gathering, emphasizing the serious health risks associated with tobacco consumption.

The program also featured a testimony from a resident of Morodu village, who shared his personal experience with the adverse effects of tobacco use.
