Abu Road, Rajasthan – Madhav University recently held a cleanliness drive as part of the National Service Scheme (NSS) and Swachhta Abhiyan. The initiative aimed to promote cleanliness and environmental awareness among students.
Dr. Devendra Mujalda, the coordinator of the Swachh Bharat Abhiyan program, stated that the volunteers actively participated in cleaning public areas around Bujhela.
Dr. Bhavesh Kumawat, University Registrar, emphasized the importance of making cleanliness a way of life. Dr. Sushil Bhargav, Dean of the Pharmacy Department, highlighted the significance of cleanliness as a service to society. Dr. Guruchran, Dean of the Agriculture Department, inspired the volunteers to adopt the principle of “My Waste, My Responsibility.”
Sangeeta Singh, NSS Coordinator, provided insights into new dimensions of waste management and recycling.
The event saw active participation from students including Samir, Rohit, Kumar, Manish, Bhavani, Tushar, Dharmesh, Himanshu, and Amritlal.
