May 14, 2024 – Madhav University’s Faculty of Pharmacy hosted a special lecture on Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP). The lecture was delivered by Amit Lohar, Manager at Western Drug Limited, and an industry expert.
The lecture focused on the significance of GMP excellence for the pharmaceutical industry. Dr. Sushil Bhargav, Dean of the Faculty of Pharmacy, emphasized the importance of industry-academia collaboration in achieving GMP excellence.
During the event, Madhav University and the Industrial Faculty of Health Sciences (HIPS) signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU). This partnership aims to provide students with valuable industry exposure and prepare them for successful careers. Dr. Bhumika Lohar, Director of HIPS, highlighted the importance of such collaborations in bridging the gap between academia and industry.
Amit Lohar provided insights into the challenges and opportunities within the pharmaceutical industry, equipping students with practical knowledge and industry perspectives.
