
Madhav University’s National Service Scheme (NSS), Bharat Scouts and Guides, and the Special Education Department jointly organized an event dedicated to Earth Day, focusing on raising environmental awareness and instilling a sense of responsibility in students.
University Registrar Dr. Bhavesh Kumawat emphasized environmental awareness and encouraged everyone to plant trees. Academic Dean Dr. Mahendra Parmar spoke on “Zero Waste Lifestyle,” highlighting small steps for significant change. NSS Director Dr. Devendra Mujalda discussed the historical context and current relevance of Earth Day.
Special Education Department Head Dr. Ghanshyam Kushwaha stressed dedicating oneself to protecting the Earth, while Dr. Ruchita Kotadia advocated for chemical-free farming. Dr. Sangeeta explained the complexities of e-waste management, and Dr. Muharram Ansari promoted solar energy as a clean energy source.
Assistant Professor Pathan Taufiq Khan conducted the program, and Dr. Renuka expressed gratitude to all involved. Participants pledged to protect the Earth and planted trees.
