Madhav University Raises Awareness About Education Rights in Nagpura Village

August 23, 2024 – Madhav University’s National Service Scheme (NSS) units 1 and 2 jointly organized an educational awareness program in Nagpura village. The initiative aimed to educate villagers about their rights to education and encourage school enrollment, particularly for underprivileged children. The program is part of Madhav University’s ongoing efforts to raise awareness about education rights in the surrounding communities.

Dr. Devendra Mujalda, Director of the NSS unit, presided over the event and appealed to villagers to prioritize education, urging parents to send their children to school. He stressed the importance of education for a better future. Sangeeta Singh, in charge of NSS Unit 1, presented information about the Right to Education Act. Dr. Renuka, in charge of NSS Unit 2, highlighted the benefits of education and its significance for children’s development, focusing on making the information accessible to children in Nagpura and nearby areas.

Approximately 100 volunteers participated in the program and organized an awareness rally through the village, conveying the importance of education to the community. The event successfully conveyed the message of education’s importance to the villagers.
