Abu Road, Rajasthan, India – September 29, 2024 – Madhav University commemorated the birth anniversary of Shaheed Bhagat Singh with a special program and a cleanliness drive. National Service Scheme (NSS) volunteers and students actively participated in the event, demonstrating their commitment to social service and cleanliness.
The program commenced with Dr. Devendra Mujhalda, NSS Director, highlighting Bhagat Singh’s life and sacrifice. He urged students to draw inspiration from Bhagat Singh’s ideals and actively engage in social service and cleanliness campaigns. Dr. Mujhalda emphasized that Bhagat Singh is not only a symbol of patriotism but also a guiding force for social reform and youth empowerment. Sangeeta Singh, in charge of NSS Unit I, shared inspiring anecdotes from Bhagat Singh’s life with the students. Dr. Renuka, in charge of NSS Unit II, conducted the program.
Following the commemoration, a cleanliness campaign was organized on the university campus. NSS volunteers Manoj, Santosh, Durga, Chhagan, Manish, Dinesh, Aarti, Mamta, Nilesh, Ravina, and Seema, along with other students, participated in the drive. They cleaned the campus and spread awareness about the importance of hygiene and sanitation. The students pledged to carry forward the message of cleanliness to the wider community. The event successfully instilled a sense of patriotism and social responsibility among the university students, reinforcing their commitment to serving the nation and promoting cleanliness.
