
Madhav University Students Visit Udaipur Solar Observatory for Educational Trip
Udaipur, Rajasthan, India – [Date Not Specified] – Madhav University’s Physics Department students from the Faculty of Basic and Applied Sciences visited the renowned Udaipur Solar Observatory, located on Fateh Sagar Lake. The observatory, a key solar research facility under the Physical Research Laboratory, Ahmedabad, plays a vital role in astronomy.
Twenty students, accompanied by professors Dr. Mamta Ben Soni, Dr. Rohitash Kumar, and Dr. Bhavin Soni, participated in the educational trip. They gained in-depth knowledge about the observatory’s operations, solar activity studies, and astronomical research. Students learned about modern techniques used for solar observation, enhancing their scientific understanding and research interest.
The trip was organized under the leadership of Dr. Mamta Ben Soni, Head of the Physics Department and coordinator of the trip. Dean of the Faculty of Basic and Applied Sciences, Dr. Jigar Soni, congratulated Dr. Soni for her efforts.
University Chairman Dr. Rajkumar, Chairperson Himmat Singh Deval, President Dr. Rajiv Mathur, and Registrar Dr. Bhavesh Kumawat praised the initiative, emphasizing the importance of such educational trips for practical knowledge and research inspiration.
