Madhav University’s Animal Welfare Initiative During Heatwave

During a severe heatwave, Madhav University initiated a compassionate campaign, “A Pot of Water, A Hope of Life,” to provide relief to animals. The university’s Scout and Guide Rover-Ranger Group led this effort.

Students and staff were encouraged to place water bowls for birds and animals at their homes, on rooftops, in gardens, and in open spaces. This small act of kindness aimed to make a significant difference in the lives of these creatures.

Students from the Special Education Department actively participated alongside their teachers, inspiring others to join the cause. Dr. Ghanshyam Kushwaha, Head of the Department, along with teachers Mayank Awasthi, Shrey Khatak, and Ajay Kashyap, guided the students in this initiative.

Rover Leader Pathan Toufiq Khan coordinated the campaign, overseeing its planning and execution. Supporting Rover Leaders Nirbhan Singh and Manoj Nagar played key roles in spreading this message of social responsibility. The campaign set a new standard for compassion and community involvement.
