Abu Road, Rajasthan, India – March 6, 2025 – Madhav University’s Pharmacy Department is hosting a sports festival from March 3rd to 8th, seeing enthusiastic participation from students. The festival was inaugurated by University Chairman Dr. Rajkumar, who lit the ceremonial lamp.
President Dr. Rajiv Mathur, Registrar Dr. Bhavesh Kumawat, Dean of Pharmacy Dr. Sushil Bhargav, Principal of the Institute of Pharmacy Dr. Abhinav Dwivedi, Director of Homeopathy Dr. Bharti Desai, Controller of Examinations Dr. Mukesh Kumar Mahawar, Dean of Academics Dr. Mahendra Singh Parmar, Chief State Officer Mahendra Singh Gurjar, and Chief Finance Officer Mukesh Kumar Saxena, along with faculty and students, attended the opening ceremony.
Dr. Rajkumar emphasized the importance of sports for physical and mental development, leadership, teamwork, and problem-solving skills. The festival features cricket, football, volleyball, kho-kho, carrom, chess, and quiz competitions. The initial matches of cricket and volleyball were particularly thrilling.
The festival will conclude on March 8th with prize distribution for the winners and a cultural program.
