Abu Road – Madhav University’s Law Faculty and National Service Scheme (NSS) unit jointly organized a “My Constitution, My Pride” walk in Bharja village. Led by NSS Director Dr. Devendra Mujhalda, the event aimed to raise awareness about the Indian Constitution and its significance. Bharja village council member Katilal Choudhary also lent his support to the initiative.
Law faculty students and NSS members actively participated in the walk, traversing the main roads of Bharja village. Participants carried banners and chanted slogans, educating citizens about the Constitution’s importance and its key features. The walk concluded at the Government Senior Secondary School in Bharja, where a special session was organized for students.
School Principal Harendra Foujdar delivered a detailed lecture on the Constitution’s significance and its salient features. Professor Surendra Singh Deora provided information about the fundamental rights and duties enshrined in the Constitution. Law Faculty Dean Dr. Dilip Kumar Upadhyay expressed his gratitude to all the participants. The event saw enthusiastic participation from students, including Vikram Goyal, Daksh Saini, Pradyuman, Rishi Raj, and many others. The walk and the subsequent session proved to be a valuable learning experience, fostering a deeper understanding of the Constitution among students and villagers alike. The event was overseen by Assistant Professors Govind Kumar, Dr. Dushyant Kumar, and Dr. Suresh Kumar Trivedi.
