Abu Road, Oct 13, 2024 – The Navdurga Pran Pratishtha Mahotsav, organized by Madhav University, was celebrated with great pomp at Shri Kameshwar Dham in Kasindra village on October 12th. The presence of hundreds of devotees made the event grand and full of religious fervor. According to Dr. Bhavesh Kumawat, Registrar of Madhav University, this event was very important from a religious and cultural point of view. A grand procession was taken out, starting from the Madhav University campus and culminating at Shri Kameshwar Dham.
The procession, led by Dr. Rajkumar Rana, Chairman of Madhav University, along with local residents, university students, staff, and devotees from far and wide, created a devotional atmosphere throughout the village. The procession commenced on October 11th with the installation of the Kalash on the temple’s peak, followed by the Pran Pratishtha on October 12th and concluded with a grand feast (Mahaprasadi) which was attended by devotees from far and near. On this occasion, devotees especially came from Haryana to seek blessings.
Dr. Rajkumar Rana, Chairman of Madhav University, said that this event will always be remembered as a historic religious experience. He added that this place in Kasindra village will now establish its identity as a religious pilgrimage site, where devotees will regularly come to receive blessings. He also said that Shri Kameshwar Dham is now emerging as a prominent religious place, and its religious significance has increased even more with the consecration of Navdurga. Dr. Rajkumar Rana, along with his father Jagmal Singh and brother Rajendra Singh, were present during the event. The event created an atmosphere of enthusiasm and devotion, and a special attraction was seen among the devotees.
