Madhav University’s College of Agriculture is conducting practical exams for its B.Sc. Agriculture students, focusing on quality education and practical skills. The exams for first to third-year students are being carried out with enthusiasm and a scientific approach.
Students are receiving hands-on experience at the university’s agriculture farm, with live demonstrations and fieldwork related to their curriculum. They’re involved in activities like soil testing and crop management, applying the techniques they’ve learned throughout the year.
College Director Dr. Geetam Singh emphasized the importance of increasing the practical component of the curriculum to at least 50% to align with modern agricultural techniques, skill development, and entrepreneurship.
University Registrar Dr. Bhavesh Kumawat highlighted the role of each department in a student’s intellectual development. Dean of the College of Agriculture, Dr. V.R. Patel, stressed the value of “learning by doing” and “seeing and doing” in preparing students for agricultural careers.
University Chairman Dr. Rajkumar stated that their students work hard throughout the year, which leads to excellent exam results. The university aims to provide quality, practical, and technology-based education to empower students to be self-reliant in the agricultural sector.
