    - Understand the nature, causes, and characteristics of intellectual disabilities.

    - Develop a thorough understanding of relevant legislation, policies, and ethical considerations related to special education.
    - Understand contemporary Indian education, and the pedagogy of various school subjects, and assessment for learning.
